Glass City Soccer is a Non-Profit Soccer Organization based in Toledo, Ohio. We are the travel soccer program for the Washington Local Soccer Club. Our primary purpose is to provide a high level soccer experience at the lowest possible cost. We accomplish this by utilizing a combination of volunteers and professional staff members to coach and manage our teams. We currently have 6 Boys and 5 Girls Soccer teams plus an Academy program that plays soccer all across the Northwest Ohio region and range in ages from 6 to 19 years old. We compete primarily in the NWOYSL. We also travel to compete in tournaments in and around the Midwestern region. Our home field is located at the Erme Soccer Complex on Harvest Road behind the Washington Local Library.

  • Tryouts for the  Fall of 2013 thru Spring 2014 Seasons will be held the First Week of June at the Soccer Centre in Maumee.  Please pre-register your child by completing this form. 

 

      • If born between August 1st, 2003 and July 31st, 2007 tryouts will be Monday June 3rd from 6pm-8pm at Soccer Centre
      • If born between August 1st, 2001 and July 31st 2003 tryouts will be Tuesday June 4th from 6pm -8pm at Soccer Centre
      • If born between August 1st, 1999 and July 31st 2001 tryouts will be Wednesday June 5th from 6pm-8pm at Soccer Centre

 

    • Note: All players must tryout in the Age group that corresponds with their birthdate.  However in some situations, players may be selected to play up with a higher age group.

 

  •  Congratulations to the Boys U10 Team for an undefeated season!  After going 3-9 in the fall, this group improved to win the division title and end up at 8-0-2. Awesome improvement guys!   

 

 

  • GU11, GU12, and BU12  Teams are all participating in the M.I.S.T. tournament June 7th-9th in Medina, Ohio

 

  •  The GU14 Team will be participating in the Avon Lake Father's Day tournament, June 15th-16th in Avon Lake, Ohio. 

 

 

  • The GCS U11/12 Academy  game schedule is now posted here.   

 

  • Goalkeeper training will be every Friday at Erme from 6pm-7:30pm with Coach Lee Robison.  All players who are interested in GK training are invited to attend.
